Designer Summary
Throughout this semester, I got to work on a variety of different types of games. However, throughout all of them, I found that I most resonated with unique ideas. When making a game, I didn't want players to rely too much on their preexisting mental skillsets and instead be forced to look at problems from a new angle. I didn't really enjoy making more standard games like platformers or visual novels, and instead tended to work on projects where players had to think out-of-the-box to solve problems. While I also enjoy more mechanically focused games, my skill set currently isn't very well set up to make the type of mechanical game that meshes well with this idea of unorthodox concepts. When you play my games, expect to find interesting concepts that will require you to change your thinking and even extend beyond just the scope of a single game file.
